This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Shopping Global Limited d/b/a MVP Research ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and discloses personal information when you visit mvpresearchlabs.com, place an order, or otherwise interact with us. It also describes the privacy rights available to residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws. This Site is intended for users in the United States, and personal information is processed in the United States.

Contents

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to personal information we collect through the Site, by email or telephone, and in connection with your orders. It does not apply to information collected by third parties whose services we link to, including carriers, laboratories and payment processors, each of which handles information under its own privacy policy.

2. Categories of Personal Information We Collect

In the last twelve months we have collected the following categories of personal information, using the category names set out in the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Identifiers, such as your name, billing and shipping address, email address, telephone number, account username and IP address.

Customer records, such as order history and the information you provide when you contact support.

Commercial information, such as products purchased or considered, order values, delivery method selected, and payment references. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers.

Internet or network activity, such as pages viewed, referring URL, session duration, browser type, device type and approximate location derived from IP address.

Geolocation data, limited to the approximate region implied by your IP address and the shipping address you provide.

Professional information, limited to the laboratory, institution or research affiliation you may provide when confirming researcher status.

Inferences drawn from the above, such as product interests used to improve the Site.

We do not knowingly collect biometric information, precise geolocation, government identifiers, health information, or the categories of sensitive personal information defined by the California Privacy Rights Act. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require offering a right to limit under that law.

3. How We Collect Information

We collect information in three ways. Directly from you, when you place an order, create an account, subscribe to updates or contact us. Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Site, as described in our Cookie Policy. And from service providers, such as our payment processors and carriers, who provide transaction confirmations, fraud signals and delivery status.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for the following business purposes.

To process, fulfil, ship and confirm your orders, and to provide order and tracking updates.

To verify eligibility, including age and researcher confirmation, and to screen for fraud, abuse and prohibited use.

To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.

To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site and our product documentation.

To send transactional messages, and, where you have consented, occasional product and documentation updates from which you may unsubscribe at any time.

To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose personal information only as described below. We disclose it to service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract, including payment processors, shipping carriers, fulfilment providers, email and analytics providers, and hosting providers. We disclose it when required by law, subpoena, court order or other lawful request, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety or property or that of others. And we may disclose it in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy or provide notice of any material change.

6. We Do Not Sell or Share Your Personal Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve months, and we do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age. Because we do not sell or share, no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" opt-out link is required; if that practice ever changes, we will update this Policy and provide the required opt-out mechanism before doing so.

7. Cookies, Analytics and Global Privacy Control

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the cart and checkout, functional cookies to remember your preferences, and analytics cookies to understand aggregate Site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, as described in our Cookie Policy. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser transmits it. We do not respond to Do Not Track browser signals, because no common standard for them has been adopted.

8. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the following rights.

The right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.

The right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to statutory exceptions such as completing a transaction, detecting security incidents, or complying with a legal obligation.

The right to correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As stated in Section 6, we do not sell or share personal information.

The right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right.

The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right.

To submit a request, email support@mvpresearchlabs.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will verify your identity by matching the information in your request against the information in our records, and we may ask for additional information where necessary. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days, extendable by a further 45 days where reasonably necessary, in which case we will notify you. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission signed by you, and we may still ask you to verify your own identity directly.

9. California Shine the Light

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. You may confirm this by writing to support@mvpresearchlabs.com.

10. Other State Privacy Rights

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Rhode Island and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights that are substantially similar to those described in Section 8, including rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a portable copy of personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale and certain profiling. We do not engage in targeted advertising, sale of personal information, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Submit requests to support@mvpresearchlabs.com. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to the appeal within 45 days. Residents of some states may also contact their state attorney general with a complaint.

11. Nevada Residents

Nevada law permits residents to opt out of the sale of certain covered information. We do not sell covered information as defined by Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A. You may submit a verified request to support@mvpresearchlabs.com.

12. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Order and transaction records are retained for the period required by tax, accounting and product traceability obligations, which is generally seven years. Account information is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Support correspondence is retained for up to three years. Analytics data is retained in aggregate or de-identified form. When information is no longer needed we delete it or de-identify it.

13. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and the use of PCI-compliant payment processors that handle card data outside our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

14. Children Privacy

The Site is not directed to children, and no part of it is intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. A parent or guardian who believes we may hold information about a minor may contact support@mvpresearchlabs.com.

15. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and documents, including certificates hosted by testing laboratories. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those parties, and this Policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.

16. Email Communications

Transactional emails relating to your order are not marketing messages and cannot be opted out of while an order is active. Any marketing email we send will include an unsubscribe link and our postal address, in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act. Unsubscribing takes effect promptly and does not affect transactional messages.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date at the top will change. If we make a material change, we will provide additional notice, such as an email or a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
